Summer is short here, so we try to make the most of it. Some might say we waste these bright days by dozing in the sun, but no time spent in happiness is truly wasted, I feel. Sure, we could do better, but we’re young, we’re still learning.

Besides, we prefer to study in the mornings and evenings, when it’s cool. We aim for six hours of work every weekday, if possible, matching what we would have done at school, but maybe we only do an hour of reading, with three hours of foraging, an hour of broom practice, and an hour practicing potions. Another day, we might do six hours of studying, all in one sitting. You’ve got to go with the flow, so you can enjoy the sunshine and free time without a guilty conscience.
