Lakehouse owls only come out in the darkest hours. You gotta come real high into the mountains, too, to these clear lakes in the valleys. She uses her calls and bright eyes to lull fish to the surface. It looks like this one is teaching her chicks to find pebbledashers.
It’s said that their soft songs can ease the storms in the hearts and minds of those that hear it, but do they mean with magic? Or is it just such a lovely sound that, in that moment of music, all else is forgotten?
Is there really a difference?
