Kiwi is a cheerful sort, always singing, always dancing. While familiars can rarely speak in human tongues, Kiwi can manage a few lines of conversation and several catchy songs, making her very popular with the younger people she meets. She and her mage are healers in a rural area and sick children are not so afraid when Kiwi comes to visit.

While some may consider the chatter cute, Masters and studiers are theorising that her merry banter may well have some magical undertone, some power not yet understood. Many familiars have a power or magic that they can use, sometimes at will but not always, and perhaps Kiwi’s natural gift is to bring a few friendly words.
