So Mush Brewing

It is well known that mushrooms can be used in all sorts of potions, but Roscoe is the master of sniffing out the caps and cups. When the heavy scents of autumn fall on the forest and the moss and leaf litter spread like a carpet over the land, it can be hard to sniff put anything of interest, but Roscoe is on the case. He can detect any sort of mushroom local to the area, and can even smell when they are at different stages of growth.

Some mushrooms can only be used at certain times of their growth, while others must be cured or dried or cleansed in some way. Even the very experienced foragers rarely touch the more daring sorts, leaving them instead to the noses of those like Roscoe, who can tell without fail exactly what they’re dealing with.
