Tilda

There is none so gentle as Tilda. She is a sweet and patient darling, towering above even the tallest human and selkie heads. With fine claws and tender paws she cares for all the small things in the wild meadows around her home, gathering flowers for the bees and butterflies.

She thinks the insects very strong. When ants carry back their findings to the nest, weaving through the grass with leaves or berries carried above their heads, she thinks them mighty indeed – for her, it would be like carrying a whole tree back home, or a great boulder. Bees can carry one another around when needed, but Tilda doubts she could carry another bear for long. She likely does not know how strong she actually is, but she has found pleasure in a more gentle approach to life.
