Hydras and dragons were once more closely related, and sometimes a little hydra blood reappears in dragons. Echo and Chime are of a small, bat-like sort that typically hunt at night, and when it comes to night vision, two sets of eager eyes will always work better than one.
The only real issue they have is in decision making. While Echo may choose one target, Chime chooses another, and we are left with a grumpy knot. The easiest solution is to take turns – one night, Echo leads, the next, Chime.
The approach is suiting them well so far, and each class they choose who is best suited for the task that day. Some days one is too tired, or another day, too unsure. Learning to talk it out, even if it’s just a quick exchange of words, has spared them any recent tangles.
