The mountain cities are strange places, full of music and bustle and winding streets with shadowy shops and tiny houses. They’re a trek to get to, but worth the effort.
Morning brings the quietest hours, when the city rests and recovers from all the night markets and festivals. It is best to arrive then, to enjoy the city in its slumbering state, and to grow with its rising atmosphere in the afternoon, and lose yourself in the food and singing of the evenings. Enjoy some magic tricks, find some mysterious trinkets or old scrolls of sorcery, or just watch the moon soar overhead, so close you could almost touch it.
