As autumn approaches you may find paths of perfect wild mushrooms growing through the winding trees. Sometimes red caps, others white, even black or green or bright shining gold, there are all sorts of mushrooms to be found, left or encouraged by anything from spirits to fae.

Many are harmless or even good for you, left by spirits or kindly fae to begin the gathering season. Others are… undesirable, left by trickster fae or grown by hunting goblins. Goblin grown is often easy to recognise on account of their lingering footprints. Eat one of their treats at your peril, for some cause far greater problems than sickness… some will turn you slowly into a worm. Not ideal.
