I’ve been desperate for a deep scale scrub for weeks, and when we finally get here the rest of the flock just have to make it awkward. Just pick a cactus, scratch yourself with it, it’s not difficult, but nooooo, someone stole someone else’s patch or they don’t like how close it is to the stream or they don’t like how dry the ground is…

If they’d just let me scratch in peace for a few minutes they could have my spot when I’m done, but NO, they gotta make a fuss now. Ugggh.
