Our little school is a great place, I’ll give them that, but we need our alone time too. No matter how quiet and calm the other kids are, the peace of the woods can’t be beat. And our secret spot right here is where we let off steam.
We don’t have much steam to vent, we’re very lucky, but things do build and pressure needs releasing. The stream washes away those troubles while the sun tickles softly through the canopy overhead, massaging our backs and necks. If you sit still long enough, the other animals will live their lives in this glade without giving you a second thought. A wild deer cuddled up to us the other day.
We sort of want to tell others about this place because it’s so lovely, but perhaps it’s so lovely because we’re alone…
