Today’s the day, today’s the day! I could barely sleep, I could barely sit still! Today’s the day my Suki learns to fly a broom! And look, a perfect bright day for classes!

I’ve been so patient for so long, but finally we can soar and laugh together in the wide skies. If I were big enough I’d lift her into the skies with me and sail away, and one day I will, but for now a broom will do. She’s already got the bestest broom, it’s her grandmother’s and it’s full of old magic and spells to keep it safe… I can’t wait, and neither can Suki!

I think she’s scared, a little bit, but I won’t let anything happen to her. She’s lucky her familiar can fly, I guess. One kid in our class has a goat, what’s he gonna do with that?
