Sometimes what we see is not what’s really there. Spirits, in particular, use disguises and masks to hide their true identity, and it is our response to their guises that these spirits judge. Do you recoil in fear, or wait for action before choosing your next path?
As much as a spirit may try to disguise itself, they are lain bare by moonlight, especially when full. Reflections in glass or water will show the real form, often quite different from the day-to-day mask. Spirits try to hide themselves during full moons. Respect their ways or face the consequences: some who hunt spirits during full moons go missing, but others with skewed memories and no homes to go back to turn up in their stead. Are faces swapped or masks placed on trespassers? Do not try to find out.
