One can never have too many books, but one can easily have too few bookcases. Even in the new house with a designated library room, the walls were soon stocked floor to ceiling in volumes new and old, until heaps gathered in corners or were styled into tables, onto which more books were piled.
Our solution? Shrink them until needed.
Some familiars don’t have magic, but those that do often have magic that reflects something of themselves; keen-eyes birds often have foresight, dogs and wolves may conjure strong shields in times of need, and dinky little mice like myself can work the world to our own scale.
It also means I can read them, too! … if I can… learn… to read…
Great post 😄
