Are you going to the walled garden? Please keep an eye out for Arthur, he’s a bit of a troublemaker.

You’ll know him when you see him; he’s a little plant spirit that grew in the rockery. Pretty cute, actually, but he takes great pleasure in pranks. He ties shoe laces together, or pulls them out of your boots while you’re distracted. He’ll take things from your bags or pockets if he can reach. If you change your shoes, make sure to put them on the shoe rack above the door or he’ll fill them with gravel.

Oh, it’s all fun and games, and a fair price to pay for all the little jobs he does. Moss is his favourite thing to eat, so it never takes hold here. He also seems to have some control over the insects, so we rarely get infestations.

Be warned, don’t touch the gem in the rockery or he’ll set his bees in you.
