The Dwarven Deep Gardens are Gurney’s pride and joy. With an ease that comes from time, patience and a little bit of natural flair, the bare rock, hidden from the Far Sun for uncountable millennia, was tended and softened until it could sustain life.
The Under Suns can permit the growth of plants, but not usually to the vigour as seen in the Deep Gardens. How long has Gurney dug for, tossing and turning the compacted soil, sifting out the rock and long-forgotten treasures?
Some say the dwarf has the magic touch, and they may be right. I think he just loves what he does, and that love shows in the world he made.
